12th Pass wale Sabhi Candidates Apply Kare - Indian Air Force Central Gov Job

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT 01/2025 notification for recruitment to 336 officer vacancies in Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty 

(Non-Technical) branches. 

IMPORTANT DATES

The online application process began on - December 2, 2024 

and will close on - December 31, 2024.

 The course is scheduled to commence in January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Flying Branch:
• Age: 20-24 years (born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2006).
• Education: Minimum 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level and a graduation degree with at least 60%.

Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical)

Administration and Logistics		Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with at Least Minimum  60% Marks Physical Eligibility Height Male : 157.5 CMS | Female : 152 CM
Accounts		Bachelor Degree in Commerce B.Com with at Least Minimum 60% Marks Physical Eligibility Height Male : 157.5 CMS | Female : 152 CMS
NCC Special Entry	Flying		NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and Other Details as per Flying Branch Eligibility
Meteorology Entry	Meteorology		For Eligibility Details Read the Notification.

• Age: 20-26 years (born between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2006).
• Education:
• Technical: Engineering degree with 60% marks.
• Non-Technical: Graduate in any discipline with 60%.

Exam Details

Mode: Online.

Duration: 2 hours.

Total Marks: 300 (100 questions, 3 marks each, with 1 mark deducted for incorrect answers).

Sections: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning & Military Aptitude.

Selection Process

Written Exam (AFCAT).
Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview (includes intelligence tests, group tasks, and personal interview).
Medical Examination.                  

Application Fee

• Rs. 550 (excluding GST) for AFCAT entry. No fee for NCC Special Entry.

• Ground Duty (Technical): 151.
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 114.
• NCC Special Entry: 10% of the total vacancies for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (SSC)​
